Robbins & Myers, the
progressing cavity pump specialists, are delighted to be moving to
Southampton Science Park, a move which is an important part of their
investment for the future. Whilst the relocation of the design and
customer relations teams represents a short hop from their existing
location in Chandlers Ford, the manufacturing operation is joining
their 'sister' company Chemical Reactor Services in Lancashire.
David Lee, Operations Manager of Robbins & Myers UK, explains 'The
modern, hi-tech environment of Southampton Science Park provides us
with direct access to a wide range of facilities which will benefit
our business, while the move of our manufacturing to Bolton, provides
closer links to our major customers in the chemical and pharmaceutical
industries'.
He continued, 'It's a win-win situation! We are particularly looking
forward to having access to the technical resources in addition to the
first class conferencing facilities at Southampton Science Park'.
