Mr Alan Walker has joined the Board of Southampton Science
Park as Chairman. He takes over from Mr Jeremy Seddon.
Alan is a graduate in mathematics from the University of
Southampton and has had a distinguished career with the Royal Military
Academy, Sandhurst, Burmah-Castrol Oil and National Westminster Bank before
joining 3i Group in 1982. At 3i he fulfilled a number of roles, including
Director, Ship Mortgage Finance Company plc, Corporate Development Director
and Group Treasurer. He retired from 3i this year.
Alan has been a Member of Council of the University of
Southampton since 1997 and Treasurer since 2003. We offer Alan our warmest
greetings and look forward to his contribution to the development of the
Science Park. |
