Good progress continues
to be made with the Lime Tree Walk Building, Chilworth Science Park's
latest building for both new and move-on tenants. Brymor Contractors
Ltd commenced construction of the GBP4m new office facility in October
2005.
The project is being run by Contracts Manager Roger Halford who,
fresh from his gold-medal win at the Chartered Institute of Building's
Construction Manager of the Year Awards, is ensuring the build goes
smoothly and remains on target for its end of July completion date.
The building has taken shape quickly; the steel frame is complete and
the roof, which was fabricated on site, has just been completed. The
external brickwork is progressing well and the vertical cladding,
glazing and mechanical and electrical works are now underway.
Southampton Science Park would like to thank TKL Architects, Currie
and Brown, Rushby Brewster and Peach MacLean for their contributions
to the success of this project so far.
Lime Tree Walk will be
ready for occupation in early August 2006 with units of 500 ft2 to
6000 ft2. For further information, please contact Don Fox on 023 8076 7420 or enquiries@science-park.co.uk |
