Economic development across Hampshire
has received a further boost with the opening of a new office for the
Hampshire Economic Partnership (HEP).
HEP has taken an office at Southampton Science Park
as a centre for its wide-ranging activities. HEP is widely
regarded as the leading economic partnership in Hampshire, bringing
together the business community with central and local government in a
programme that tackles key local issues affecting business success.
"HEP is widely recognised for the
effectiveness of its activities across many industry sectors"
commented HEP Chairman Jennifer Miller. "This new office is very much
part of providing an enhanced focus for our activities - and will enable
businesspeople, and others, to gain easy access to the
organisation."
The HEP office will be shared with Lynne
Halliday, the Investor
Development Manager in the region for the South
East England
Development Agency (SEEDA).
