Chilworth Manor Hotel and Conference Centre,
which is located next to Southampton Science Park, has just invested
GBP30,000 in a complete package of state of the art AV equipment for its
130-seater Cedar Suite presentation and lecture theatre.
"Not only does this place us in the
forefront of presentation technology," said Gavin Elliott, the
hotel's director and general manager. "Extensive consultation with
Southampton University and AV presentation specialists Impact Europe has
led to a bespoke facility that is among the best in the country."
"The new equipment will be a
tremendous asset to everyone who makes presentations in the Cedar Suite,
whether they are accomplished presenters or, like most people, find public
speaking quite nerve-racking," he added.
The system was designed to deliver
exceptionally good functionality and user friendliness, with emphasis on
simplicity and ease of control. A user manual is provided together with
the relevant manufacturer's documentation.
The first of Chilworth manor's clients to
use the new AV equipment was TransEDA, a leading IT provider. Their
representative Marsha van den Heuvel clearly enjoyed the experience,
saying: "I was delighted with the new AV equipment. It's very easy to
use, especially the touch screen technology and the XGA visualiser. I
